MATTHEW EIDEMILLER
President
Matthew Eidemiller’s leadership as the President and owner of CVW has been instrumental in positioning the company for continued expansion. His strategic vision and unwavering commitment to excellence have contributed to the organization’s success.
He has been serving as the company’s lead technical director and staff engineer since 2007. In 2010, Eidemiller was promoted to Vice President of Production, where he was responsible for managing the operations and logistics of all CVW’s productions, as well as budget preparation, invoicing, advanced client interaction, and show management. In late 2021, Eidemiller took over full ownership of CVW. Matthew now oversees the growth and direction of the company, while still maintaining his presence on event sites. He is steadfast in his commitment to providing clients with exceptional service and products, and is continuously pushing CVW to new heights.
Eidemiller graduated from Clarion University of PA in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Matthew resides in Bristow, VA with his wife and children.
SAMANTHA WOLBERT
Managing Director, Corporate & Executive Affairs
Samantha has been an essential member of the CVW Event Productions team since 2018, providing administrative support. Over time, she has become an integral part of the company and was appointed as Managing Director in December 2021. In this role, she collaborates closely with leadership to cultivate CVW’s long term vision, and works daily with staff to accomplish our company goals. She demonstrates a deep commitment to serving both CVW’s clients and team with great compassion and professionalism every day.
Samantha is highly skilled in producing and stage managing both in-person and virtual events, making her a valuable asset on site. Her true passion lies in giving her best to every event she is a part of.
Before joining CVW Event Productions, Samantha studied Mass Media Arts at Clarion University. Samantha, a Pennsylvania native, currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and three children.
KYLE WOLFE
Vice President, Event Design
Kyle Wolfe joined CVW in July 2023 as a Visual Designer, where he creates CAD renderings and event plans that help both our internal team and clients visualize events before they come to life. He brings technical precision and creative problem-solving skills honed during his previous career as a touring video and lighting engineer for concerts and festivals.
Kyle’s background in live event production gives him a unique understanding of how design translates to real-world execution, ensuring our visual concepts are both stunning and practical. He is passionate about bridging the gap between creative vision and technical reality.
Originally from Michigan, Kyle now lives in Reston, Virginia with my wife and son. When he isn’t designing events, you’ll find him mountain biking local trails or strategizing over board games.
NICOLE WONG
Executive Vice President, Operations
Nicole Wong is the Business Manager at CVW where she’s excited to have the opportunity to combine both office responsibilities and show site skills. She’s an award winning video editor and producer with over 20 years experience in live event production and graduated with a degree in Communication from the University of Toledo with Honors. Nicole facilitates communication both within the company and with our fantastic team of freelancers. Her time outside of work is spent on road trips with her family and volunteering both with her son’s Scouting organization and with a dog adoption agency.
DEVON DILLA
Account Executive / Event Producer
Devon Dilla joined the CVW team in January, 2020 as a live event technician. A graduate of James Madison University, Devon has over 17 years of industry experience. Now in his role as an Account Executive/Event Producer, he takes great pride in bringing an event from start to finish for all his clients. The video side of production is his area of interest/expertise, with plenty of other experience in live sports and entertainment broadcast as a cameraman, replay operator and director. He is a huge sports fan, particularly the Washington Nationals and Pittsburgh Steelers. Devon lives in Berryville, Virginia with his wife, Maxine, and their three dogs, Buster, Daisy and Dixie.
LAYNE FULLER
Operations Manager, Logistics and Warehouse
Fuller, a cum laude graduate of the University of New Mexico, has worked as a freelancer for CVW since 2017. He joined CVW full-time in 2023, managing operations. He brings with him over 20 years of live event experience and a vast institutional knowledge of DC area venues. Layne has worked as a production manager, technical director, lighting designer, stage manager, and audio engineer. He loves music, plays the drums and spends his time at home in Chevy Chase with his wife, daughter and black lab
PETE DAVIS
Senior Audio Manager
Pete has served as the Lead Audio Technician for CVW since 2017. He added Warehouse Manager to his duties in January 2023. He has 25+ years of experience in all aspects of the audio-visual industry. Davis has held similar positions with companies such as Event Tech, ESP and Baltimore Sound and Lighting. For the last 20 years Davis has focused on honing his skills in the audio production field both in the music and corporate fields. Pete currently lives in Martinsburg, WV.
MIKE ZAPALOWICZ
Senior Producer / Technician
Mike joined CVW Event Productions in 2015 and brings 14 years of professional experience to the table. Mike has been trained in all aspects of CVW’s business but specializes in video production, projection, technical directing, engineering, and show management. Mike graduated from Frostburg State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Video Production. Prior to his time here at CVW Event Productions Mike worked for Ripken Baseball, overseeing the live production and TV and radio broadcasts of the Aberdeen IronBirds, minor league affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.
WILL FARRELL
Live Event Technician
Will Farrell joined CVW Event Productions in September, 2024 after working with his family’s video production company for 8 years. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Philosophy. He has produced videos and managed livestreams for a variety of organizations throughout the DMV ranging from small nonprofits to state agencies or multinational NGOs. Will is a film and television buff and longtime resident of Frederick, MD where he also enjoys hiking, running, and petting any dog or cat he can.
RUSS POCH
Staff Accountant
Russ joined the CVW team in June 2024 as a staff accountant. Russ is originally from New Jersey where he graduated from Centenary University. He has over 20 years of accounting experience in a variety of areas.
Outside of work Russ enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and attending sporting events. In the year 2000 he moved to Centreville, Virginia, where he currently resides with his wife and three sons.
MALAIYA MCGEE
Administrative Assistant
Malaiya is the Administrative Assistant at CVW. Before joining the team, Malaiya worked in marketing, independently managing media campaigns and initiatives. She is an expert in juggling multiple projects and driving office efficiency. With over ten years of experience, she is committed to supporting smooth office operations as well as assisting with marketing and social media efforts. Malaiya is interested in learning more about the technical side of production while managing her duties as she has always had a thirst for knowledge. Malaiya is a dog mom who enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants.
